A Friendship That Will Never Be Broken
My Grandson, Josh, was having a lot of problems. He was in a state of depression and he asked me if he could have a dog. He truly needed a buddy and a best friend. I took Josh to the Connecticut Humane Society in Waterford, but we didn't find a companion for him. Josh went on the internet and found a dog by the name of Romper in Newington. We went there the next day. Romper and my Grandson immediately connected. In that moment I realized that they needed each other and I knew that Romper would be Josh's best friend. We have changed Romper's name to Rocky and he seems to love his name. He is good with all my grandchildren and he even wrestles with my daughter for her pillows. Josh is a lot more cheerful than before thanks to a great dog named Romper/Rocky. Thanks so much for the Connecticut Humane Society's time and work. God Bless you all!
