We cannot thank the Humane Society enough for putting happiness back into our lives

We would like to thank the Waterford CT Humane Society for the two wonderful kittens that we have welcomed into our family. After the passing of Dale, an 11-year-old Maine Coon mix and our best friend, the house was just not the same. We found Spaz (aka Chase) while browsing the shelter's website. I went to the shelter to see him and he came right over to the front of the cage and began rubbing his head for me to scratch and extending his paw for me to rub. I wanted him right away. I then looked down and saw the cutest little furball I have ever seen...Della (aka Lindsay). I was there for just one kitten, so I put her back into the cage. She began to cry and climbed up the bars for me to take her out. Yea.. I took them both. They are getting along wonderfully and are always playing together. DELLA is a cuddle bunny and loves to sleep right next to us. SPAZ does not know the word slow (hence the name), he is always going 1000 miles an hour. We cannot thank the Humane Society enough for putting happiness back into our lives, and would recommend to anyone please go adopt a shelter pet. As a family member told me - "the best therapy after you lose a pet is to save another life" In our case, we saved two.
