Steps for Pets

Fundraiser organized by PerkinElmer to benefit the food pantry.

For your health and the health of your pet, join us for the PerkinElmer Steps for Pets walk and collection drive to benefit the CT Humane Society Pet Food Pantry.

PerkinElmer is hosting a half-mile walk at the Shelton Riverwalk* for you, your family, and your well-behaved pet.  Come out and enjoy the fall weather, enter your pet in the costume contest, and bring a food or cash donation for the Pet Food Pantry.

The pantry is desperately in need of donations to help families across Connecticut who are struggling to feed their pets. Please consider donating any of the following pet food products — unopened and unexpired:

• Adult dog food (wet or dry)    • Puppy food (wet or dry)
• Adult cat food (wet or dry)    • Kitten food (wet or dry)
• Dog treats    • Cat treats
• Food for small and furries (rabbits, guinea pigs, etc.)

Can't make the walk? You can still donate to the Pet Food Pantry. PerkinElmer will be accepting donations at: 710 Bridgeport Avenue, Shelton, CT 06484

Look for collection boxes in the front lobby and cafeteria or contact Wendy Simko at 203.402.6989 (x6989) with your cash donation.

* The Shelton Riverwalk is located in downtown Shelton at Veteran's Memorial Park.
You do not have to bring a pet to join the fun. All well-behaved pets are welcome to attend.
