Thank you for adopting your new best friend from the Connecticut Humane Society. We are so happy to have had the opportunity to help you bring a new member into your family. You have truly made a difference in helping us work together to put a end to pet over population.
We would love to hear from you. Your story just might inspire others to consider shelter adoption as their first option when it comes to getting a pet. Don't forget to include pictures...they say a thousand words!
Constant Companion
I work from home and was looking for a canine companion to remind me to get from the desk and go outside... and I found it in Maybelle.
Cody ( aka Cody Man )
We fell in love with Cody when we saw him online. We didn't realize he would steal our hearts at the shelter and when we got him home. When we first met Cody he was shy but he still rolled over to have his belly rubbed.
Ringo the Star
From a little "Flea" to a true rock star!
Pancakez-The Sweestest Way to Start Your Day!
We adopted Pancakez (shelter name was Pepper) from the Newington Humane Society, and could not be happier with our new companion. She's a big girl with a big heart!
Bogey (f/k/a Huffy)
Our family is complete again! We had two adult cats (16 years +)...one passed away this past October and the other just passed away 2 weeks ago. Our house was so quiet and sad and we just had to fill it!
We would like to congratulate and thank all of the families who have given our pets a second chance.
The pets below have all been recently adopted and are now in their forever homes!
