I BELONG TO PROJECT PURR-FECT! $50 OFF MY ADOPTION DONATION! Maizy is a stunning 11-year-old Siamese mix in search of a new home. She is a mature lady who is mellow and calm. Maizy wants her new home to be peaceful, so she can lounge about on the sofa, bed, or in the sun shinning through the window. She has lots of love to give, so she'd prefer to be in a home with teenagers and adults who can provide her with all of the attention she deserves. Maizy currently lives in our Westport sanctuary house, so she is willing to share her new home with another calm cat. Her blue eyes really stand out against the milk-chocolate color of her fur. Meet this gal today at the Westport shelter of the Connecticut Humane Society. She's definitely ready to find her new forever home!

Ponus is an amazing 10-year-old boy who is a true example of perseverence. Ponus was found wandering in Norwalk. The animal control officer rescued him from the streets and brought him to CHS when no one claimed him. When he got to our Westport shelter, we realized he was blind. It turned out Ponus had glaucoma and needed a special treatment to relieve him of pain due to this condition. We also found out he was testing positive for two different tick-born diseases, had some dental problems and had a heart murmur. The Westport shelter treated Ponus for his glaucoma and tick born diseases, neutered him, cleaned his teeth and put him on antibiotics to get him back to good health. Through it all Ponus has been a happy, loving, easy going guy. He gets along with other dogs but needs a home with calm, gentle dogs who will not take advantage of the fact that he's blind. Ponus needs a dedicated, loving family who understands his special needs and is prepared to continue to care for him. Visit with Ponus today at the Connecticut Humane Society in Westport! His charm will win you over!
