Buddy is a mellow 6-year-old chow/retriever mix who is calm cool and collected. He walks great on a leash and he loves attention. Buddy is the type of guy who enjoys going for long walks, but once he is home he likes to chill. He is in great shape and he is eager to learn new tricks. Buddy has a heart of gold. This week the Connecticut Humane Society in Waterford would like to introduce you to Meg. Meg is a Jack Russell terrier mix. She is 13 years young. Meg came in to our shelter because her owner was having health issues. Meg is a sweet older dog who still has plenty of energy. Coco's a sweet gal in search of a new home. She would likely be best with older children since she can be a bit shy. She may be willing to share her new home with another dog, but we would ask for an interaction between the two dogs before approving an adoption. If you think Coco could be the gal for you, please meet her at the Westport shelter of the Connecticut Humane Society! She's just looking for a loving family who wants to have some fun! |

Nanna was the star of The Big D Morning Show on July 6! Nanna is a super sweet 4-year-old pit bull mix in search of a new home. She enjoys the company of adults and older children who will provide her with lots of exercise. She also gets along well with some dogs. Nanna wants her forever home to be cat-free. She is very smart and she is eager to please. The two best words that describe her are sweet and loving. Nanna is ready for a new family who will love her as much as she will love them.
