The Connecticut Humane Society is a private, not-for-profit organization. We are not affiliated with any other humane organizations or groups and we do not receive any state or federal funding. This makes your gift even more special. We greatly appreciate your donation on behalf of the thousands of homeless animals that are in need of care.

The financial help we receive from concerned friends like you, in part, enables us to provide placement services, veterinary care, food, shelter and spay/neuter services to the animals in our facilities on a continuing basis.

We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation and your donation is fully tax-deductible to the amount allowed by law. The email receipt you receive after making a donation meets all the IRS requirements as a record of donation.
