CHS is a private, 501c(3) not-for-profit organization. It receives no federal, state or municipal funding, and relies solely on generous supporters like you to continue its lifesaving efforts. Your support will save pets’ lives, and enrich the lives of the families who adopt them. Every dollar is important, and greatly appreciated by the Board, staff and dedicated volunteers. CHS is a financially responsible organization, with 100% of every dollar donated directly supporting its crucial programs and services.
Your gift is tax deductible to the full extent of the law, and will be acknowledged with a tax receipt as a record of your donation. Electronic gifts are acknowledged via email. Gifts made in person at a shelter are acknowledged at the time of donation. Paper checks and other donations are acknowledged via US Postal Service. Additional gift verification is obtainable via email at firstname.lastname@example.org CHS does not sell, trade or share donors’ names, physical addresses, mailing addresses, telephone numbers or electronic contact information with anyone, nor does it send mailings on behalf of other organizations.
