Pet Food Pantry

The Connecticut Humane Society's Pet Food Pantry provides free quality pet food for people in financial need who are struggling to feed their pets. Our goal is to keep pets in their homes and out of shelters! The pantry currently provides pet food for several hundred dogs and cats each month, and the need for this crucial service continues to grow.

Ways You Can Help

  • Organize a pet food drive to collect food for pets in need. Learn more.
  • Donate unopened, unexpired pet food for companion pets. Click here to view the wish list. You may bring your donation to any CHS adoption center or to one of our drop-off locations in the community.
  • Make a monetary contribution to supplement the food donations we receive. A donation of only $30.00 will keep a dog (or three cats) in their home for one month. Click here to make a secure donation online.
