2017 Faux Fur Ball on Saturday, April 22 - Thank you for joining us!
The 2017 Faux Fur Ball was enjoyed by all, and raised crucial funds for the medical care of pets in need. The evening included fun silent and live auctions, raffles, music and of course furry VIPs at the door! Special thanks to the event sponsors and auction donors for their generous support of the pets.
Pets inspire $33,000 in donations at Faux Fur Ball
Fans of furry and feathered friends bid, ate and danced the night away at the Connecticut Humane Society’s Faux Fur Ball, all while raising over $33,000 for care and medical treatment of homeless pets.
And they saw firsthand some of the little faces benefitting from their generosity: Frankie, Napoleon and Mugsley attended as puppy representatives of CHS, greeting guests at the door with hugs and posing for photo ops with the “puparazzi.”
The April 22 event, held at the Hilton Mystic Hotel in Mystic, featured dinner, live and silent auctions, raffles, a photo booth, pet-themed trivia, music, and, of course, the 2-month-old furry VIPs. Guests who bought tables for 10 were also treated to a private champagne reception with CHS Executive Director Gordon Willard.
