Sponsored Pets of the Month

The results of philanthropy are always beyond calculation.’ –Miriam Beard

The Connecticut Humane Society is thrilled to have several wonderful supporters sponsor our most needy pets each month. Their help makes it possible for these pets to go home more quickly than would otherwise be possible.

Anybody from individuals, to families, to local businesses can take part in this very worthwhile program.

The current lineup of monthly sponsors include Monaco Ford, local teens Marisa and Tori, and Christine and Al.

If you would like to get involved, send us an email at info@cthumane.org and join us in saving pets' lives!

Figaro
11 years old
Domestic long hair mix
Altered male

Figaro is looking for some serious TLC in his new home. He has a heart murmur so is eager to live in a calm environment were he can get a lot of love. He is very sweet and would be willing to share his new family with another friendly cat or a calm dog. He may even enjoy the company of respectful kids over 10. To meet him is to fall in love. Visit him in Newington.

Diamond
10 years old
Staffordshire bull terrier mix
Spayed female

Diamond also needs plenty of extra TLC in her new home...and a family that has some experience with special needs pets. Diamond is mostly deaf so will need to communicate with sign language. She likes kids over 8 years old and may be interested in sharing her new family with another dog. Her only request is that she wants to live in a cat-free home. Visit her in Westport and find out how you can make her dreams come true.

Spots
9 years old
Domestic short hair mix
Altered male

Spots isn't really spotted. Instead he has beautiful tiger markings with plenty of white markings. Like Diamond above, he also likes kids over 8 years old. He is a friendly guy who is likely to do well with another cat or dog in the home. He would like to have a covered litter box in his new home. This guy is all about privacy and that cover will keep him happy. Visit Westport and make him your forever friend.

Please note: the pets featured here were available at the time of posting. Pets are adopted daily and we cannot guarantee the availability of those pictured. There is always a great selection of companion pets. Visit www.cthumane.org/adopt to view the pets currently available or in person to find the perfect friend for your family!
