Volunteer Opportunities, Newington

Volunteer Opportunities at the Newington Adoption Center

Certified Dog Groomer

The Newington adoption center is looking for a certified dog groomer to work on site to bathe and groom the dogs.

Requirements: 18+, have active health insurance, comfortable working around all types of dogs, be in good physical condition, able to work independently with limited supervision, certified dog groomer or professional dog grooming experience, must be able to follow verbal and written instructions and communicate effectively with staff, other volunteers and the public.

Commitment: 2 hours, twice a month, for at least 6 months

Open Shifts:
The schedule for this position is flexible.
